Tracey Holmes

Journalist and broadcaster, Tracey Holmes, has worked in Australia and overseas covering news, culture and politics - predominantly through the prism of sport. She has covered breaking news such as the Lindt Café siege terrorism attack, interviewed people from ordinary punters in the street to Sheikhs in the Middle East, and has reported from the biggest events including 14 Olympic Games. Her work has appeared on the ABC, CNN, Dubai Eye, CGTN, SBS and more. Tracey is Professorial Fellow in Sport at the University of Canberra, a Council member for Indigenous Football Australia, a board member for the Oceania Australia Foundation, a mentor for the International Olympic Committee’s Young Reporters program, and an Ambassador for the Australian Museum and the Chappell Foundation for Homeless Youth. Tracey has lived and worked in several countries and is currently based in Sydney, Australia.
