Suri Matondkar

Suri Matondkar is an Indian writer and doctoral student. She was a 2024 Hot Desk Fellow at the Wheeler Centre and was also awarded the 2025 Eric Dark Flagship fellowship by Varuna, The National Writers' House. Her work appears in Roxane Gay’s Emerging Writer Series, Island and Kill Your Darlings. She is grateful for the chance to live and overthink on unceded Wurundjeri land where she uses too many gifs in work emails, worries too much about forgetting important things and carefully avoids phone calls.
