Marjon Mossammaparast is an Iranian-born poet from Melbourne. She has lived and worked in Italy, China and Macau.

Marjon is a practising English teacher, and has been involved in educational endeavours across the state and at tertiary level. Marjon’s poetry has appeared in a wide range of Australian literary publications, including Best Australian Poems, the Weekend Australian, Canberra Times, Southerly, Mascara, Quadrant, Eureka Street and the Australian Poetry Journal, as well as international publications Antipodes (US) and The Moth Magazine (UK). Her first collection of poetry, That Sight, is being published this year through Cordite Books.
