Australian blues/folk/jazz icon Margret RoadKnight celebrates her 80th birthday and 60th year as a performer with the release of new album Long Time... via Chapter Music, compiling recordings 1988-2023 from the second act of her storied career.

Best known for her 1976 top 40 hit Girls In Our Town, Margret played her first show in 1963 at the Emerald Hill Theatre at the invitation of folk icon Glen Tomasetti. In the 70s and early 80s, Margret released a series of acclaimed albums mostly via Festival Records, and toured the world numerous times, often representing Australia. Some of the many impressive artists she has shared stages with are guests on this album, including Judy Bailey, Phil Manning, Jeannie Lewis and Judy Jacques.
