Jeanine Leane is a Wiradjuri poet, essayist, and author from the Marrambidya River. Her poetry and literary critique have been widely published in literary journals and magazines such as Overland, Sydney Review of Books, and Westerly. She is the author of two volumes of poetry and one novel and currently lives on the lands of the East Kulin Nation, in Naarm, Melbourne.
