Evelyn Krape has over three decades of diverse acting experience in theatre, film and television, beginning as a stalwart at Carlton’s Pram Factory to TV appearance on Homicide.

Evelyn Krape has over three decades of diverse acting experience in theatre, film and television, beginning as a stalwart at Carlton’s Pram Factory. She has worked for MTC, Playbox and the Victorian Opera Company and enjoyed great success with the one-woman play, Female Parts. Evelyn has played several major roles with Glenn Elston’s ‘Shakespeare in the Gardens’ series, including Bottom, Titania and Verges.

Recent theatre work includes Beckett’s Endgame for the 2008 Melbourne International Arts Festival and Ovstrovski’s The Scoundrel That You Need.

Her film appearances include Quigley Down Under, Babe 1 & 2, and The Sound of One Hand Clapping, and television work includes Australia You’re Standing In It, Flying Doctors, Blue Heelers and Homicide.

Evelyn won the 1993 Victorian Green Room Award’s Best Actress in Musical Theatre for Ginger at Playbox and was nominated in 2002 for Best Female Actor, Fringe for Body of Work.
