Denise Hylands

Having just clocked up 40 years as a presenter on Melbourne’s RRR, it’s easy to say that Denise Hylands is a huge music fan. Radio is a passion for which she loves to curate music weekly for her Saturday afternoon show, Twang. Discovering and sharing music is what’s kept the twang wheels rolling since 1996, playing new discoveries and interviewing local and international guests, including Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Dolly Parton, Justin Townes Earle amongst so many, as well as all that Melbourne has to offer in the local country music community.

Denise also works within the industry for concert promoters Love Police Touring, coordinating tours by some of the best and more interesting artists in the country/Americana scene.

Denise has had the pleasure of interviewing Kasey Chambers numerous times from her days in The Dead Ringer Band through to Kasey’s many projects and releases over the years.
