Darcy Moore

Darcy Moore

Boasting enormous athleticism for a key position player over 200cm, Darcy has taken the AFL by storm since his debut. The son of Collingwood legend Peter Moore, the Pies selected Darcy with their first pick in the 2014 Draft. At the start of 2023 Darcy was announced captain of Collingwood, following in his father’s footsteps. Darcy had a sensational season making the All Australian team as captain, while leading Collingwood to a Premiership.

An avid reader and amateur barber, Moore prides himself on extending his identity well past football. While he made headlines for his widely respected speech following Collingwood's 2023 Anzac Day victory over Essendon, Moore has immersed himself in a range of social issues; stretching from Reconciliation efforts to pushing forward CBA negotiations for the AFLW, the 27-year-old is making a mark not just on the field, but off it too.
