Angelita Biscotti
Angelita Biscotti is a contemporary artist working with photography, poetry, performance, astrological counselling and sound design to explore the tension between motion and stillness, the intimacy between past and present, and how transformation is always possible no matter how frozen-in-place dominant ideologies seem. Angelita's writing has been published in Sydney Review of Books, Cordite, Overland, Liminal, and many places. Angelita's electronic score for Ebony Rattle's globally touring "Winona" has been favorably compared to Portishead and the Twin Peaks soundtrack. In 2024 Angelita was shortlisted for the prestigious Woollahra Digital Literary Award for Poetry. Angelita is currently a PhD candidate in Creative Arts and English at La Trobe University, a recipient of the RTP and the Research Graduate Scholarship stipend. (Pronouns: They/them).
