Cath Smith from VCOSS takes to the Lunchbox/Soapbox to raise the social issues at play in the Victorian State Election from housing affordability to the impact of diabetes on our health system. For Smith it’s a case of prevention rather than looking at solution to existing problems. She asks why social workers are paid less than the hospitality industry, calling for pay equity and better education as she asks the electorate to “vote for fairness first”.

Last week Paul Mees spoke about Public Transport highlighted our outer suburbs PT woes and called for a movement away from car culture.
