The Wheeler Centre's Hot Desk Fellowships have wrapped up for 2024, and this year we welcomed twenty-two fellows into the building. For 10-week periods, the fellows worked on their projects on the Level 4 mezzanine, and it was wonderful to have our office be injected with these writers’ creativity and passion. It has been a privilege and joy to play a role in everyone's writing journey. Below is a collection of extracts of the fellows' work-in-progress which spans many genres and styles including middle-grade fiction, plays, auto-fiction, creative nonfiction, literary fiction, verse and more.
