A Victorian exclusive event, this will be Australian fans’ only opportunity to delve deeper into the processes and experiences behind Polachek’s music as she sits down for an intimate discussion about the evolution of her varied career, the expression of self through art and the future of pop. Taking place in the spectacular surrounds of Melbourne’s Capitol Theatre, the Q&A will be hosted by pop-culture connoisseur Brodie Lancaster. Co-host of the weekly podcast See Also, Lancaster is an essayist and author whose critiques and features have been published in Vogue, The New York Times, The Guardian, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and The Age, amongst others.
This event is part of ALWAYS LIVE, a statewide celebration of contemporary live music supported by the Victorian Government through Visit Victoria. Presented in partnership with ALWAYS LIVE, APRA AMCOS and RMIT Culture.
