Teens Talk… is professional development with a twist – we’re giving teens the mic to share their expertise about the issues that affect them in the classroom. In this second event in the series, our teen experts will be talking all things consent.
Hosted by Consent Labs, an organisation dedicated to changing the culture around sexual consent, youth facilitator Noah Bloch will speak with two current high school students – Izabella Measham-Park and Joudy Sallam – about their experiences of consent. What does consent mean to teenagers today? What are the obstacles to clear communication of consent? And what are some of the problems with the current ways that consent education is taught in schools?
Hear about these urgent and important issues, from the young people currently living through them.
