Mixing, pouring, stirring … what do you need to make the perfect potion?
Penny Harrison’s new picture book The Little Coven explores magic, difference and the power of friendship. Three little witches gather in the moonlight, bringing together their differences to make magic in the forest. But they’re also making something more powerful than potions: these three witches are crafting a lifelong friendship.
Join us for this school holiday event with Harrison and artist Pilgrim Hodgson. The session will include a storytime and Q&A, followed by a playful workshop led by Hodgson where kids will be invited to create their own magical concoctions and maybe make a new friend!
Suitable for kids aged 5 – 8 years old.
The bookseller for this event is The Kids’ Bookshop.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, venue capacity is unfortunately limited. We will not be able to accommodate walk-ups or a waitlist as may have been the case in the past.
