Get directions100 Seconds ’til Midnight is an interactive series of events responding to the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists’ plea for world leaders to take action on climate change before it's too late. Led by storyteller Bernard Caleo, a team of experts has been called upon to respond to an imagined climate change crisis, ten years into the future. Putting their minds together, our experts will utilise STEAM skills to propose solutions and reverse the effects of climate change on a small coastal town.
Running alongside the public events, you can now register your interest in having our experts conduct hands-on workshops at your school. These sessions will build on the decisions made in the first panel event held at the Wheeler Centre. Students will be guided by their expert facilitator to utilise STEAM skills in order to implement the proposed solutions in our climate catastrophe scenario. What does the future look like? You have the skills to help change it.
To inquire about conducting one of these workshops in your school, please contact Bec Kavanagh, Schools Programmer at the Wheeler Centre at Bec.Kavanagh@wheelercentre.com
The Wheeler Education STEAM program is generously supported by George and Rosa Morstyn
