Beci Orpin's new book for kids, Take Heart, Take Action, is filled with bold and beautiful illustrations and simple messages for children on how to make the world a better place: 'be kind', 'don't lose heart', ‘compost’, ‘protect nature’. It’s a book to spark discussions about the planet and our place in it.
In this school-holiday event, Beci herself will appear at the Wheeler Centre to do exactly that. The beloved Australian designer and illustrator will talk kids through the book and her artistic process. She’ll then get them inspired to design their own illustrations and posters that promote positive impact on the world. All materials provided.
This event is suitable for 4–8 year olds.
