Angela Slatter
Angela Slatter is the award-winning author of the collections The Girl with No Hands and Other Tales, Sourdough and Other Stories, The Bitterwood Bible and Other Recountings and Black-Winged Angels, as well as Midnight and Moonshine and The Female Factory (both co-written with Lisa L. Hannett). She has been shortlisted for numerous prestigious prizes, including the Norma K. Hemming Award, and has won the World Fantasy Award, the British Fantasy Award and five Aurealis Awards.
Her short stories have appeared widely, including in annual British, Australian and North American 'best of' anthologies. Vigil is her first solo novel. Angela lives in Brisbane, Australia with her husband David.
Rjurik Davidson
Rjurik Davidson is a writer and editor. He has written short stories, essays, reviews and screenplays.
His works include the novels Unwrapped Sky and The Stars Askew, and the collection The Library of Forgotten Books.
Rjurik writes imaginative fiction, speculative fiction, science fiction, surrealism, magic realism and fantasy. His unique and radical speculative fiction has seen him nominated for or win a number of awards. He is also an accomplished professional and educational writer.
Rose Mulready
Rose’s short fiction has appeared in various publications, including HQ magazine and the Sleepers Almanacs. Her novel The Day We Lost the Moon was shortlisted for the 2012 Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript. Her novella The Bonobo's Dream won the 2016 Seizure Press Viva la Novella Competition.
She is the Australian Ballet’s Content Expert, and lives in Melbourne, by the sea.
Jamie Marina Lau
Jamie Marina Lau is a multidisciplinary artist and the author of Pink Mountain on Locust Island. With explorations focusing on language, Jamie's work meditates on a landscape exploring dis-location of culture and space. Her second novel Gunk Baby will be published in May 2020 with Brow Books.
