Prominent future dead person and media guy Andrew Denton takes to the Giant Dwarf stage with Julian Morrow to discuss his plans for shuffling off this mortal coil. The Big Practical Joke he intends to play at his funeral. The readings he wants (hint: no Bible, but probably Douglas Adams). The music to play as they carry him out (The Smiths maybe?). The words on his tombstone.
And then, just to lighten the mood, he’s going to launch his podcast series – all about assisted dying – called Better Off Dead.
Join us as Andrew farewells himself. In lieu of flowers, please buy beers.
7.00pm arrival for 7.30pm start.
Better Off Dead is produced by Thought Fox in partnership with the Wheeler Centre.
