AWG 50th Anniversary: David Williamson State of the Industry Address

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Australian Writers’ Guild, a major State of the Industry Address will be presented by David Williamson AO, president of the AWG and Australia’s most acclaimed playwright and screenwriter.

Writer of classics such as The Club, and Don’s Party, David Williamson will present a compelling oration which is both an investigation of contemporary theatre in Australia today and a prediction of the challenges for playwrights ahead, from the unique perspective of one of our most lauded writers.
