Kate Morton grew up in the mountains of south-east Queensland. She has degrees in dramatic art and English literature and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Queensland. Kate lives with her husband and young sons in Brisbane. Her first novel, The Shifting Fog, published internationally as The House at Riverton, was a number one bestseller in 2007.
Blanche Clark
Blanche Clark has been a journalist for 23 years.
A graduate of RMIT’s Professional Writing and Editing Course in its inaugural year in 1988, she joined The Herald as a junior reporter in 1989, and has worked as a sub-editor, features writer, education editor and as books editor for the Herald Sun’s Weekend section for the past three years.
