Peter is also contributing editor at Inside Story magazine and adjunct fellow at Swinburne University’s Centre for Urban Transitions. He is a former ABC broadcaster and the author of three books, including No Place Like Home: Repairing Australia’s Housing Crisis (Text 2018).
Evan Thornley
Evan Thornley is the CEO of Better Place.
Thornley’s involvement with a Better Place Australia aims to get electric cars rolling in Australia. Before this Evan served in the Victorian Parliament.
He and his wife also left their mark on Silicon Valley with a startup company LookSmart. He is the National Secretary of the Australian Fabian Society. He serves on the board of the Brotherhood of St. Laurence and was a Founding Director of Get Up, an online activist network.
Andrew Penn
He has been Group Chief Executive Officer at AXA Asia Pacific Holdings since 2006 with a long association with AXA.
He serves as Director of AllianceBernstein Australia Limited, AllianceBernstein New Zealand Limited, AXA-Minmetals, Bharti AXA Life and various AXA APH subsidiaries. He is always travelling and is a committed Kindle reader.
Simon McKeon
Simon McKeon is executive chair of Macquarie Group Melbourne Office.
McKeon been the executive chair of Macquarie Group’s Melbourne office and chair of Business for Millennium Development. Recently he was also appointed chair of the CSIRO.
He was also a Patron for the United Nations Year of Microcredit in 2005. And he’s in the Guiness Book of Records, not for making money, but for sailing.
