Seasoned political commentator George Megalogenis gives us his call of the card after the messiest election in Australian history. He divvies up the country into mining states, southern states and the dead state, while asking how Julia Gillard sent some of her strongest supporters Green and why Tony Abbott couldn’t win his home state.

The ‘none of the above’ vote looks like destabilising governments and parties for years to come, but is it also an exciting opportunity to re-imagine our nation?
