Stephen Mayne asserts that women are still not getting a fair go in the workplace and women represent less than 10% of board members in Australian business. He recounts how he first saw sexism at the David Jones AGM which he says was run by a “lecherous pants man”. For Mayne feminism has failed to make a difference in the boardroom.

He follows Jennifer Byrne who argued for the negative and Virginia Haussegger who argued for the affirmative.
