Presented and chaired by acclaimed broadcaster Ramona Koval, the discussions will feature high-profile professionals talking about the books that have been important to them and have influenced their profession.

Ramona Koval is a writer, journalist and broadcaster. Her most recent book is By the Book: A Reader’s Guide to Life, published by Text in November 2012. She presents The Monthly Book Podcast and blogs at ramonakoval.com.
She edited Best Australian Essays 2012, published by Black Inc. Books, and was the presenter of ABC Radio National’s The Book Show.
Born in Melbourne in 1956, Tim Flannery is a writer, scientist and explorer. He has written many award-winning books including The Future Eaters, Throwim Way Leg and Country.
Professor Douglas Hilton is a professor of medical biology.
Rachel Webster is Professor of Astrophysics in the School of Physics at Melbourne University.
