The original Eureka flag, 155 years after the miners' stockade.
Today is 155th anniversary of the Eureka Stockade. To commemorate what was arguably the birth of modern Australian democracy, a full-size replica of the original rebellion flag has been raised at Bakery Hill, in Ballarat, site of the mines' rebellion.
