Shaun Micallef

Having conquered television, radio, theatre and film, Shaun Micallef smashes his mighty fist onto the keyboard of his soul and produces a novel of such breathtaking brilliance that if Patrick White were alive today he’d hurl his own typewriter into the sea and start a lawn-mowing business.

Shaun Micallef has become one of this country’s favourite comic performers. While still a solicitor he wrote for the ABC-TV’s Big Gig (1989-1992). From there went on to write for, produce and eventually star in Channel Seven’s Logie winning Full Frontal.

In 2007-08 Micallef turned to news satire, writing and producing the AUGIE and Director’s Guild Award winning Newstopia for SBS. Since 2009 he has hosted the immensely popular Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation for the TEN Network.
