Milton Glaser

Creator of the iconic ‘I ♥ NY’, Milton Glaser is one of the most celebrated designers in the world and a rare breed of intellectual designer-illustrators.

Glaser’s presence and impact on the profession is formidable. He is the first designer to receive the US National Medal of Arts, presented by President Barack Obama, for a lifetime devoted to improving the way people communicate through innovation in graphic design.
