Leigh Hobbs

Many of his cartoons have appeared in the Melbourne Age newspaper. A highly successful animated TV series, based on Leigh’s Old Tom series of books has been screened in Australia and Europe. Leigh has three times been shortlisted for the CBCA Picture Book of the Year Award (for Mr Chicken Goes to Paris, Horrible Harriet and Old Tom’s Holiday) and his books have won every major children’s choice award in Australia. His most recent books feature Mr Badger, the charming Special Events Manager at a swish London hotel.
