Joel Magarey

Joel Magarey is a former journalist who works as a writer with his first book published this year.

Exposure: a Journey is his memoir of love and travel with a sharp psychological edge. Joel’s short fiction and poetry have been published by a variety of literary magazines, including Meanjin, Overland, Quadrant and Southerly. He is a former journalist with degrees in the humanities, has travelled through some of the world’s remotest landscapes. He currently works as a Victorian parliamentary reporter.
