Catherine Harris’ fiction and essays have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies in Australia, Canada, England and the United States.
In 2009 she won the prestigious Josephine Ulrick Literature Prize and she is the recipient of the 2010 Alan Marshall Scholarship for Emerging Writers. Like Being A Wife is her first book and was shortlisted for the 2009 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards for an unpublished manuscript.
