Amra Pajalic

Amra always wanted to be a writer. After finishing high school, she bypassed university, with the vague idea that life experience is what made a person become a writer.

Even when working a series of dreary office jobs to pay the bills she made the time to write. The Good Daughter is Amra’s first novel. It was shortlisted in the Victorian Premier’s Award’s in 2007 for an Unpublished Manuscript by an Emerging Writer and shortlisted for the 2009 Melbourne Prize for Literature Best Writing Award.
