New world or not, it’s clear that old ways of generating and using energy must change. But if our coal-fired power plants are a thing of the past, what does the future look like? Wind turbines or solar panels, nuclear power plants or ‘clean coal’ solutions, what does it mean to find renewable, sustainable and green answers to the energy challenge, not only in Australia, but for the world? How can this transformation occur and what are the implications?
