Not all storytelling is about charming fables and whimsical yarns. This is an adults-only night of fantastical tales where anything goes. A Sydney Writers’ Festival crowd favourite and unstoppable cultural phenomenon ‘Erotic Fan Fiction’ comes to Melbourne for one seedy night only. ‘Erotic Fan Fiction’ began in Sydney in 2006 with a simple premise: The Imperial Panda team asked writers they like to write a short piece of filth about a celebrity or fictional character, which they then read in public. Five writers – Lally Katz, Rita Kalnejais, Thomas Henning, Marieke Hardy and Justin Heazlewood – turn their craft to a night of smut and hilarity.
Marieke Hardy was born on or around the set of The Sullivans and has remained in the media ever since.
Lally Katz is an award-winning Melbourne based playwright. Her play Goodbye Vaudeville Charlie Mudd premiered at Malthouse Theatre and won the Louis Esson Prize for Drama at the 2009 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards.
