Anita shares her story of growing up with an Aboriginal mother and Austrian father – and explains the development of her activist consciousness – via her provocative new book, Am I Black Enough for You? In conversation with Martin Flanagan.
Anita is a writer, poet, activist, social commentator and academic.
Martin Flanagan is the author of 13 books, including The Call, an imaginative reconstruction of the life of Tom Wills, the founder of Australian football, which was adapted into a stage play for Malthouse Theatre in 2004.
