The Moat is a bar and café located in the basement level of the Wheeler Centre building. It’s the perfect place to meet friends — or to while away the time before and after Wheeler Centre events. Opening hours are from 8.00am ‘til late from Monday to Friday, and 3.00pm 'til late on Saturdays. (Bookings are essential for Saturday nights.)
Open since November 2011, The Moat offers its considered selection of drinks and meals from breakfast time until late at night, Monday to Saturday. Newspapers, magazines and wifi are provided for patrons with the compliments of the house. On occasion, The Moat will even host a Wheeler Centre event.
