Vikki has always been somewhat of a gypsy… whether it be squeezing herself into a tiny bunk on a travelling tour bus with smelly men whilst working with British bands such as Blur, Gorillaz and Morcheeba, or bracing herself against Edinburgh’s ever changing weather whilst working with The Famous Spiegeltent, to many more adventures – a desire to keep challenging herself has kept her on the move.
After ten years in band management, a move to Melbourne to try something different saw Vikki starting her own – you guessed it – band management company! After a successful few years managing Dan Kelly which saw Dan nominated for five Aria awards for his debut album, it was time to finally try something different. That something was helping to turn what was something of a sporting bar into the successful East Brunswick Club, a slight departure from band management, but not drastic enough. Stints with The Famous Spiegeltent, Sydney Film Festival and The Garden at Adelaide Fringe steered Vikki in the direction of The Malthouse Theatre, where she worked as the Front of House Manager.
Vikki is now the proud owner of a crazy boxer x puppy, who is consuming her every waking hour. When she’s not working, reading, or going for runs, she’s cleaning up after a mischievous pup, while keeping an eye on her housemate’s chooks. Until now, she has had a secret shame of falling unabashedly in love with the male characters of her favourite books.
