Jon Tjhia

Jon Tjhia is the Wheeler Centre’s Online Manager.

Away from the wireframes and the video timeline, he produces the Paper Radio literary fiction and creative non-fiction podcast, plays music with ii and Speed Painters and every so often writes for this or that website or publication.

Previously, as a digital media producer at ABC Radio Australia, Jon developed websites in 7 languages, interviewed musicians from around the Pacific Islands, and provided multi-platform coverage of that region’s largest music festival, Fest'napuan. He’s been an often willing participant in local and international art and sound projects (including a collaborative residency in Wiluna, Western Australia) and has presented, suggested and advised on sound design and creative audio narratives at some festivals and conferences.

His other burdens include broad project experience in music, arts and media, as well as a BA (Cultural Studies) and MMm. The latter is an actual qualification, although your cooking is very nice too.
