George Dunford

George has worked on websites for some of Australia’s biggest web presences including Lonely Planet, Seek and ABC. As a freelance writer he’s written for Australian Bookseller & Publisher, Meanjin, The Big Issue and The Age Good Food Guide.

He’s served as chair of Express Media and on the advisory board for Freeplay the independent games festival. He’s taught courses for RMIT, CAE and the Victorian Writers' Centre. His novel manuscript was recently longlisted for the CAL/Scribe Prize and he continues to write short fiction.

He recently wrote an iPhone app, Essential Melbourne, all about his adopted home city.
